Frequently asked questions
Everything engineers and buyers usually ask before their first order.

Quotes & orders
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We machine single prototypes as well as batches of a few thousand pieces.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Within 24 hours for most parts, often the same day. Complex assemblies may take a little longer, and we will tell you if so.
What files should I send?
A 3D model (STEP or IGES preferred) and a 2D drawing (PDF or DWG) showing tolerances, threads and finish. We also accept X_T, STL and DXF.
I only have a sample or a sketch. Can you still help?
Yes. Send photos and key dimensions, or post us the sample. We can create the drawing for your approval.
Why is the price per part higher for small quantities?
Programming and setup take the same time for 5 parts or 500. At low volume that cost is spread over fewer parts. We are happy to quote several quantities so you can compare.
Quality & engineering
What tolerances can you hold?
Down to ±0.005 mm on critical features. Unless the drawing says otherwise, we machine to ISO 2768-m.
Do you inspect every part?
Yes. 2 dedicated QA/QC inspectors check every order against your drawing, or follow your own inspection plan.
Do you provide inspection reports?
Yes, on request with any order.
Can you suggest design changes to reduce cost?
Yes. Every quote includes design-for-manufacturing (DFM) notes where we see a cheaper or more reliable way to make the part.
Has your factory been verified?
Yes. We have passed an Alibaba.com on-site check and hold an SGS supplier verification report (No. 492624647_T, valid to June 2027).
Lead time, payment & shipping
What are your lead times?
Samples take about 7 days. Production takes about 15 days on average, depending on quantity and finish.
Which payment methods do you accept?
T/T and L/C.
How do you ship?
DHL, FedEx or UPS for most small batches; air or sea freight from Shanghai Port for larger orders.
How are parts packed?
Individually protected where needed — bags, foam or separators — in export cartons, so finished surfaces arrive undamaged.
Confidentiality & re-orders
Will you keep my drawings confidential?
Yes. Your files are used only to quote and make your parts. We are happy to sign your NDA before you send anything.
Can I re-order the same part later?
Yes. We keep programs and records for repeat parts, so re-orders are faster and identical.
